Youth gather each Sunday evening for dinner, fellowship and Bible study! They also meet together on Wednesday evening for a time that is more mission-focused. There are periodic retreats, mission trips, Passport camp, ski trips, as well as local mission projects.
The FBC Youth Ministry ministers to youth of middle and high school ages. The ministry focuses on youth fellowshipping together in a welcoming environment, reaching out to the community through missions and growth spiritually through Bible Study and devotions. Fellowship opportunities include gatherings/lock-ins, sporting events, theme parks, camp, skiing and white water retreats and a fall retreat. Youth meetings are held on the second floor of the older educational in a devotional room and a game room for fun activities. Youth typically meet on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. (excluding Holiday weekends) for dinner with the meeting immediately following. The youth serve in various ministry opportunities community wide such as the Soup Kitchen, the Farmville Benevolent Ministries’ Food Pantry and our homebound and senior adult members. Mission camps are attended annually.
